I take the fuzziness and fuss out of PR so we can focus on the important stuff and get the job done. 

I know first hand the value of looking after people so the work can look after itself. 

Sure, I’m great at what I do, but so are a million other freelancers and agencies. There are only a select few though who will work with you without the glossy veneer of “PR types”. 

I’ll meet you where you’re at and get you to where you want to be. No endless upselling, no endless back and forth and most definitely no AI-generated content…

A few years back I was working in a busy agency role, juggling up to 15 retained clients at a time plus projects and campaigns. I love PR, but working like that inevitably leads to a state of churn - a conveyor belt of work that ticks boxes but doesn’t really get anyone excited. 

After spinning ALL the plates for a few years, eventually they all fell and smashed in a dramatic fashion. I hit burnout, had a nervous breakdown and sought out support from a therapist. I’d love to say that’s where it all turned around but I’d be lying…

A few years, a couple more meltdowns and some job roles later, I realised that any path I stayed on either in an agency or in-house would eventually lead the same way. My inner rebel wasn’t built to be told what to do, and my inner Yogi needed more balance - balance that the normal PR world just doesn’t provide. 

After a particularly rough day in the office, Proud PR was born. My chance to create something I’m truly proud of and bring others along on that journey with me.

Proud PR is founded on three core values that I will never stray from:
